Where does the time go?!

Wow, I am not very good at updating this blog, it has been months! Well a quick update of those months....life was crazy with Alex and I both in school, luckily I just finished with my credential and so for now I am home with Khloe and looking for a job (yea good luck finding a teaching job in this economy!)

Khloe's half birthday is tomorrow, I can't believe she is 18months already - where does the time go?!! She is getting bigger and more beautiful each day. Her personality is really starting to emerge, she is so funny and happy all of the time. She is completely obsessed with Mickey Mouse "Mimi"! She also loves bubbles and coloring. Her favorite songs are itsy, bitsy spider and head-shoulders-knees and toes, she will ask you to sing them constantly! She learned her first color word, and go figure, it's pink! Yesterday she went to the Angels game with mommy, daddy and papa - she did so good and had a blast!

We have also been busy beginning to plan the wedding - which we have now officially decided on Cabo instead of Riviera Maya. Still going to be May 27, 2011 and most likely still at the Barcelo hotel, can't wait for it to come!!

Our cat Moe got hit by a car a month ago and survived with only a broken pelvis, so he is now an indoor cat again and Khloe loves to search the house looking for him saying "Moe, Moe, boo-boo". It drives Tyson crazy with him being back inside, but for the most part they actually get along.

We are very sad that it is Memorial Weekend and we will not be spending it at our beloved Mexico house (we lost it in the Baja earthquake), but we will have it in memory and will hopefully soon find a new place for our families to go to. So instead we will be spending it at our house with family and friends in our dough boy pool!! :)

We hope that you are all doing well and enjoying each and every day of life!! xxoo

We decided on a destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. It is an all-inclusive resort and absolutely amazing!! We have had a couple of friends get married down there and they loved it - we can't wait!!

Check out the hotel website: www.barcelo.com/MayaPalace.

Save-the-dates coming soon with more info!!

San Juan Capistrano

End of the day - all worn out!

That smile is worth a million dollars!

Makin' a wish

Checkin' out the animals with DaDa

Hello! I have been pretty slow at updating this blog, I do apologize! School started and things got crazy! Anyways, last weekend we took the train down to San Juan Capistrano and went to Zoomar's Petting Zoo (very small, but fun none the less if your interested!) and the SJC Mission (I had actually never been, Alex had!). It was a perfect day - Khloe liked the train ride (thank goodness it was only 45 minutes though) and at the zoo she was more interested in the playground than any of the animals, but it was still fun! The mission is so gorgeous, I can't believe I had never been, Alex had gone for school years ago he said.

Bye Bye 2009....Hello 2010!

Wow, where did 2009 go!!

We had a wonderful end of the year - Christmas and New Years. It was actually Khloe's 2nd Christmas, but it really felt like her 1st since she was so little last year. She had so much fun throughout the season 'saying hi' to all the Santa's and Snowmen she saw and ooohhh'ing and awww'ing over the lights. Along with that came our AMAZING engagement!! woo hoo!!! Alex proposed Christmas morning in front of my family - totally unexpected and absolutely awesome, made me blubber like a baby so I don't remember much of what he said :) 2010 has started off well, even if it's only day 7! I am starting my last semester of school Jan. 25th so after that I will officially have my teaching credential and Alex is going to start all of his class for the RT program, we found a great private school for him to go to - and although it's costly it will be worth it in the long run! Here are a few pictures to enjoy.

We wish everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!! xxoo
