Disneyland

So for Khloe's bday/Christmas Grandpa and Grandma Kemper got us Disneyland passes (woo hoo, thank you soooo much!!!) and yesterday we took Khloe for the 1st time. She loved it! We got there early because we were not sure how long she would last, but she did great. We went on the carousel, Dumbo, It's a Small World, Toon Town, the train and Pirates of the Caribean (which she fell fast asleep on!). Not bad for the first time - we wish we could have stayed for the parade, but we will have to go back for that before the holidays are over. I now know how people can become so obsessed with the place - it is pretty amazing! I know that we will be going frequently now. I must say though that I have never seen so many strollers in one place at one time!! Shouldn't these kids be in school on a random Wednesday, lol!! Happy Holidays!!

1st Birthday

WOW- what a great 1st birthday the little princess had! and yes, she is super spoiled! The weather was a little scary in the morning, but we got lucky and didn't get any rain. I don't really know how many people came, a whole lot though and thank you so much to each and everyone who did - Khloe (and us too!) are very lucky to have all of you in our lives. Khloe had a great couple of hours playing in the balls, sand and on the swings - she didn't care much for the bounce house - and then diving in to her cake before she had had enough and it was naptime. She got a TON of presents - she officially has taken over the house I think ;-) All in all it was a WONDERFUL day, but I think momma did herself out and set a pretty high standard for birthday parties now...uh oh!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Khloe's 1st! We had breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa Kemmper's then over to Grandma and Grandpa Ek's for linner. Khloe got an early birthday present - her 1st car! Which she loved and rode around in all day. We are very thankful for good health and amazing family and friends - today and every day!

Yesterday we went to the Long Beach Aquarium with Grandma Patty and had a lot of fun. Khloe saw lots of fish, sharks and even touched a starfish!

Entering the blogging world

Well I decided that it was time to start a blog and keep everyone updated this way instead of the other website we had - for 1 blogging is FREE and for 2, well ya, it's FREE!! I can't believe it is November already and in just 20 days Khloe will be a year old. Where did the time go?! So bear with us here as I learn how to do this whole blogging bit, but check back often because I will try to update as much as possible. Happy November!!
